jezzraOk, so it's not that urgent.
But I *am* seeking a beta to go over a fic I'm currently in my fourth edit of.(this time for formatting rather than content). And all my other stuff, too, actually.
Low stress and no real pressure to get it done horribly fast - and there won't be a TON wrong with it. Mostly what I need is someone to pick through it and find out if I made stupid typos / grammatical errors that a spellcheck doesn't catch (especially since mine is fucktarded to the max, believe me. It doesn't understand contractions at all, for example.)
But moreover, I need someone to look for my big formatting change. I recently decided to move out of my 90's style wordpad formatting where I'd do thoughts like... // Blah //... and I'm going to switch them to italics instead. So I need to know if I've missed any. There's also the general issues of flowing and readability - since it was entirely self-beta'd up to this point, its very possible that, if there's still a problem, Im not going to catch it.
As I said earlier, there's no real pressure or rush on this - it's a story that's already been posted and such for a long while and I simply am looking to re-up a better formatted, beta'd by someone other than just me sort of edition. When that's done, I'll write the last few chapters.
On another note, it is NOT a TRC story (although I'd ultimately like ALL my fics beta'd XD). It is Inuyasha-based. It is also very, very long and loaded with graphic content and more than a few sensitive issues (even though, ultimately, the bad things happened so I could have an epic tale of restoration and healing and overcoming). I know that won't phase a lot of you. But let me reiterate - it is VERY VERY LONG.
So, anyhow, if anyone is willing to be my beta and help me out, I'd appreciate it muchly. I could write a fic in payment or shower you with my undying affection, return the favor, I don't know. Suggestions on that would be welcome.
Just kinda feel I have to fix what's broken and up my game, get everything on a level, before I can proceed. I'm tired of feeling like I'm skipping out. So if you (or someone you know) is willing, please drop me a line.
