Welcome to my page! I'll start off simply with my master fanfiction list, as this is the primary purpose for this page. I am almost exclusively a yaoi / slash author (that's male/male relationships for those that don't know better), so if that disturbs you then this is not the page for you. Warnings for all stories are clearly posted. I love feedback, so if you read something, please feel free to drop me a comment telling me what you think, it always makes me warm and fuzzy. My father died this morning. I didn't think there was much left to break when my little brother died last year.

I was wrong.

My dad and I were super close. He was my best (pretty much my only RL in person..) friend. This blindsided me so hard you don't even know. I can't stop crying, and when I stop to try and breathe I start making these pathetic mewling noises and it starts all over after a few minutes.

I wish I wasn't alone right now. Oh god, I wish I wasn't alone.

Thank you all to those that hoped and prayed along with me, it meant a lot and I even told him when I went to see him yesterday that y'all wished him well and he rolled his eyes but was amused by the fact my net friends said something. So thanks.

I'll probably be unresponsive at best for a while.

Thank you all again. Its nice to know there are people that care even if I can't be with any of them.

I have to withdraw from the competition as of now. I thought I'd be ok, but just got a call from the hospital.

My dad's heart stopped, he's in critical condition and on life support. They want me there.

Those are terrible signs. I'm leaving soon.

Cannot keep my head in the game. When I get it together I'll finish this fic someday and post it for y'all. For now, Zelinixia, I guess you're up.

Sooo, got to deal with ambulance people and whatnot this morning, sent Dad off.

He was worse than he had been letting on and I discovered things after it was far too late for me to do anything about them or I would have gotten the damn ambulance a week or so ago. @_@ Haven't heard anything else all day today - didn't really expect to. Hopefully I hear something tomorrow. (I guess technically today.)

A huge thanks and <3 again to any and everyone that's lent me your support - it means a lot to me right now. Here's hoping I get some..."good"(?) news tomorrow. (Anything that has an end result of 'will be fine after *insert whatever here*' is good enough for me.)

Fic - Depressing ME instead of its participants due to its decided lack of sticking. I've discarded everything about eight times now save for like...two paragraphs from the following scene. Double-yoo Tee EFF.

Olympics - Coming faster than I'd like... but hey, I've always been great at pushing deadlines at the last minute. ><

Sleep - FUBAR. If I can fall asleep without meds (that I'm not even supposed to have) it's a miracle. If I can STAY asleep when I do, I'll have an ice-skating rink to share with y'all in hell soon. Of course, this just means that later in the day when I SHOULD be up I crash, and I'm tired all the time.

Overall Status - Plotting and replotting. I know....kinda what I want to happen, but the plot bunny seems too...small. I need something else and it hasn't hit me yet. Y_Y

So. I was working on my olympic fic a bit, seeing where it would lead me. So after four pages or so I decided that was enough for the night, I'd do a fast spellcheck. It went fairly well, finding only the obvious errors of names it didn't recognize.

Then it found my page break. Ive taken to using...

...as my page break. Works well enough and none of the places I post it to have formatting issues with it.

My spellchecker flagged it. I just sorta stared at its suggested correction.

My page break is supposed to be, according to my spellchecker, "Electroencephalograph." DA FUCK? How did it get to...never mind. I'm boggled.

Just thought I'd share. XD

It's been a long time since we've had a writing contest and the comm is pretty quiet...maybe we should do another little competition / game thing?

Finally, FINALLY, got all 146 chapters of Pride uploaded, on top of everything else! Took all week...now I just have to work on making sure that all the links work, then reupdate everything on my other sites....but those should go pretty quickly in comparison. =D So happy. One major task complete...and once alll my editing is done I can settle back into writing. Huzzah. =D

Here's a slightly less crappy picture of my very first chainmail projects. I think I might get some real silver and have a go at making these for the sake of potentially selling...and once I can cut my own rings, I can make a lot more projects (finding specific wire gauges and sizes is hard!)

I resolve to finish all three of my current WIPs and will at least make an attempt at working on some of the other ideas swimming about in my head instead of drowning myself in video games during most of my free time.

Addendum : I will also ACTUALLY archive all my fics here instead of having outside links and half-assing it. I'll make a good page out of it. I also will do the damned big re-editing job of ALL my fics on ff.net (after they changed something a while back, it stripped all the formatting from my uploaded chapters...and took out ALL my page dividers. So my Author Notes bleed into the story, and there's no break between scene transition so suddenly things get very confusing.).

I WILL FINISH MY PROJECTS BEFORE STARTING NEW ONES (and not let unfinished ones keep me from wanting to do new ones!)*

*challenges excluded. Those sorta crop up now and again with certain deadline windows. ^^
